The
Technology Access Program at Gallaudet has an opening for the position of
research engineer. This
position provides the opportunity to work with new communication
technologies, with the goal of improving communications and accessibility
by people who are deaf and hard of hearing.
There is a lot of variety in the work, plus national-level exposure
and contacts in the community, industry, government, and universities.
The position requires strong technical skills and dedication to
improved accessibility.
